How to Uninstall Your Screen Saver

The following EXAMPLE is for FANCY FISH .  So, wherever you see FANCY FISH, substitute the name of the screen saver you want to uninstall.  The screenshots shown below may not look exactly like those on your computer.

1) Click the START button and select SETTINGS, then CONTROL PANEL.

2) Double click the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS icon.

3) Select FANCY FISH SCREEN SAVER from the list of software that can be uninstalled. Click the REMOVE button.

4) Usually 2 add-on applications are installed with Pixel Paradox screen savers - Screen Saver QuickStart, and Screen Saver Control. You may leave them in place if you wish, as they add nice options for dealing with any screensaver.  Here is a picture of their icons:

However, if you wish to remove them also, do the following:

To remove Screen Saver QuickStart:

• select the Screen Saver QuickStart desktop icon and press the DELETE key
• delete C:\Windows\QStart.exe

To remove Screen Saver Control:

• right-click the Screen Saver Control icon and select UNLOAD
• delete C:\Windows\FSScrCtl.exe
