Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey for Mac Review - "If you loved the original Fishdom, which I certainly did, you will be happy to know that the Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey sequel is very similar. You have tanks and you upgrade them with money you earn. The difference in this sequel is that instead of earning money through a match-3 game, now you search for hidden objects. I personally like hidden object games (HOGs) more than I like match-3 games, so I was very pleased with Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey. The graphics are great and upgrading and designing the tanks is fun. Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey is all about hidden stuff. Now normally I shun these games because I found most of them to be very hard on the eyes and the use of the god-awful-timer on the screen pushing you along to hurry it up. Ugh. Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey is totally different, There are two options - relaxed play and timed play - so no worries there. The other nice thing is the objects are very easy to spot and the hint system is very easy to use and easy to replenish. I hate how a lot of hidden object games are hard because of a dark patch you cant see, that's no problem in Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey. the backgrounds are colorful and very nice to look at. The game also has a bonus round were you try and find as much gold pieces as you can, very fun. The gameplay is almost exactly like Fishdom Mac Game, right down to only 3 tanks to fill with fish and other goodies, I do wish the company who makes Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey would have included more fish tanks to explore three is just not enough in my opinion, one of the few nitpicks I had about the last game. The game is fun and easy to play, I played this with my 8 year old nephew and He loved it.
