Virtual Villagers
3- The Secret City Review - "Virtual Villagers
3 --Long
awaited, and does not disappoint! Like the previous two, Virtual
Villagers 3 is very well made and is chock-full of little details
that make
it fun to play and replay. I love the first two and still have
several tribes going after all these years. It's a game that
is relaxing and a nice break from the hectic fast-paced games
that are flooding the market. The
style and game-play remain unchanged in Virtual
Villagers 3, which is how it should
be. New things include weather, two factions to choose from,
new sources of food, and a chief for your tribe. Collectibles
are back. There are more things for your kids to do, and a
new Awards section that will give you some extra puzzles to
work on. I didn't like the sound in Virtual
Villagers 3, fortunately, you can replace
sounds you don't like with ones you like better, which is what
I had
to
do within hours of starting the game. All
in all, Virtual Villagers 3 is WONDERFUL! I doubt very many fans
of the Virtual Villagers line will be disappointed in this one." -

Virtual Villagers 3- The Secret
City Review - "Third time's a charm with Virtual
Villagers 3! There's no shame in being a Virtual Villagers
addict, and for those of us who are addicted to any kind of
game, whenever there's a sequel out you get an initial 'wahooo!'
followed by several crossed fingers and toes that it won't
have changed too much but will challenge you more!
So what are the new additions
in Virtual
Villagers 3? Weather is a new thing here (in that it affects
your game). The introdution of a chief is also new and a great
idea because
your chief can summon varying amounts of food for you every
24hrs which is a big sigh of relief since most of us have had
famine issues in the other games, much less likely now. They
can also lecture and perform other helpful things, be kids
or be either sex and have babies if female which is good because
they don't 'work'. The Virtual
Villagers 3 potions list is also now much more extensive
than before and it can be very amusing just trying and testing
things. The other big addition to Virtual
Villagers 3 is that your tribes can now
select a 'type', either magic or nature, which affects what
you can do and means you also want to play at least twice all
the way through!
There are no major changes in Virtual
Villagers 3 gameplay, but to be honest i'm quite
glad, we like it! The tasks, challenges etc are more varied
and just
as likely to make you have to scour a walkthrough in places,
so also great.Virtual
Villagers 3 does feel like there's more to do and you
do find yourself discovering new things big and small fairly
regularly through the game.
Virtual
Villagers 3 (and the entire Virtual Villager suite) is still
one of the best real time strategy games out there!
I
bought Virtual
Villagers 3
without
demo because
with
any Virtual Villagers game, you won't get much done in an hour
anyway, but all I can say is i'll
be doing the same when Virtual Villagers 4 comes out - BIG thumbs
up for Virtual
Villagers 3" - VV Fantastic
Virtual Villagers 3- The Secret
City Review - "was excited to see the third edition
out of virtual villagers. Virtual
Villagers 3 is much like the first.
You need researchers/scientists, builders, healers, farmers,
parents.. to make your village thrive. A
new addition to Virtual Villagers 3 is the tribal chief! You
have your villagers try on a strange robe on the island, and
one of them is destined to be the leader. This villager is
not a worker, they rather help the workers. If one villager
doesn't fit the robe - try another. It can be any one of them!
Virtual Villagers 3 has exciting
puzzles to figure out, and a nice storyline. If you
liked the other two virtual villager games, you'll love Virtual
Villagers 3 as well :)" -

Virtual Villagers 3- The Secret
City Review - "At Last Virtual
Villagers 3 - More Terrific Gaming Fun. Just
as i was about to dive back into the previous VV games, out
comes Virtual Villagers 3 Secret City and boy was I excited!!
This game had me thinking every moment away from my computer
that something was happening on Isola. The gameplay of Virtual
Villagers 3 seems
to up the difficulty level a bit. You must be patient in Virtual
Villagers 3 and
use pause and speed wisely. There is more to explore and do
in this third installment but the excitement is still there. I
hope you enjoy Virtual Villagers 3 as much as i am, i didn't
even worry about the trial, bought it outright, case of virtuaitis
i suppose." - VVV (Vegan Virtual Villager)
Virtual Villagers 3- The Secret
City Review - Virtual
Villagers 3 is Here Hooray! It all starts with a couple
of Villagers stranding on an island. When they see all the ruins
they come the the conclusion that somebody has lived there already.
They struggle with questions like: What happend? Who lived here?
What's with the magic? And how can we survive? Then everything begins
to happen as they try to answer the questions.
Another great VV adventure
- Virtual
Villagers 3. I really
loved this game. Virtual Villagers 3 is the first thing I start
when I start my computer and the last thing I shut down. Some things
are the same as the previous ones, like Science, medicine, food
and collectibles, but they added some great new things like a Tribe
Chief and alchemy (which can go wrong btw). It's not a game you
can finish in a day, because sometimes you have to wait a long
time to get enough Tech-points, but it's worth the wait to solve
all the puzzles (which are not that obvious!). Get Virtual
